"A little?" His brows rose at that. "You haven't talked to Dawn lately, have you? I don't think I've ever been so scared of a person in my life with the way that one turns a shoulder on a fellow." He shook his head. Lately, the only person here that could have even made him feel a little guilty about something was Dawn. No one else could manage as much. Except Buffy. Spike expected that he'd be more aware of his mistakes now that she was around. But then again, he'd probably be more interested in not making as many now that she was here too.
He leaned forward and kissed her one more time for good measure. Then Spike nodded off toward the elevator. "I'm staying on the same hall as Dawn." He'd never admit that he forced them to give him the room right next to hers so he could keep an eye on the younger Summers. "I'll take you to her."
