Nope. Just told him I was taking her out for some fresh air, Willow sent silently back, the smile still on her face and any indication she was speaking telepathically with Tenel Ka not obvious to Allana, or anyone who might be passing by. I still say that he may not have said no, but I figured this way I wouldn't have to worry about him trying to follow.
And yes, Willow felt a bit guilty for that, but not nearly as bad as she would have felt had she been forced to take Allana away from Jacen just to make good on her promise to the girl's mother. No, it really was for the best this way. Allana could see her mom, then be back with Jacen in enough time that he wouldn't grow suspicious. Tricky, but doable. The best kinds of plans, she'd discovered over the years.
"Yeah, I'm not really a Force Wielder. Or, at least, it isn't really called the Force here," she stated outloud before nodding. "Allana's got some real potential, I can sense it, but yeah. This place isn't very kid-friendly. Or non-evil-sort friendly, come to think of it."
Waiting until Willow had finished speaking, Allana glanced up at her mother and asked, "Mommy? Can I stay with you, now? Please? You can keep me safe just like Jedi Jacen, right?" There was hope there, the hope of a small child who didn't really understand what was going on around her but who desperately didn't want to lose her mother again in a place as strange as this one.
It was almost enough to break Willow's heart.
Fortunately, the sound of soft music playing caught her attention and she glanced toward the nearby parking lot before looking back to the duo. "I'll be right back," she assured them before disappearing from sight.
Allana giggled when she disappeared, looking back to her mother. "I like it when she does that," she admitted in a loud whisper. "I want to learn how."
