The face Nathan made was all the opinion offered on the idea of 'conventional healing processes'. He would never find a medical professional he trusted half as much as Peter, even if he still preferred not to press his brother for minor issues or overtax Peter in high-action situations. It was an opinion centered, of course, in his trust in his brother, but also influenced by experiencing far too much of conventional medicine from the front seat or the direct spotlight and being in a place where supernatural injuries were commonplace.
But the look he returned in trade for that mixture was one of an innocence that would not fool her. Good example was based entirely in opinion, but Nathan could honestly say no underpants had been inappropriately used. "Not mine for once, we all keep our underclothes under clothes at all time," he said, then let out a soft snort, the rest muttered – but not entirely indistinct. "Streaking bets excluded."
