WHO: Gabriel Gray & Peter Petrelli (future)
WHAT: Discussing the security system, the Gentlemen's attack, and various other issues that have been on Gabriel's mind.
WHERE: The Hyperion Hotel; Lobby
WHEN: July 6th
RATING: PG
STATUS: In Progress
It had taken Gabriel far longer than he liked to figure out what had gone wrong with the security system during the Gentlemen's attack. Basically because nothing had gone wrong with the system. It had run exactly how it had been told to. The system had gone into lockdown and everything with it had run just how it was supposed to run. Just, nobody had been alerted that it had. It hadn't been until after checking over every line of code, all of the hardware, and all of the records of how it had ran until Gabriel had realized that it could have had something to do with the writing being restricted that had ended up messing up the coding. Checking over the coding, he'd found that the alerts were coded to be sent out fresh each time, the computer sent to send out a new text message for each situation. And rather than having a preset template encoded, the computer had to type out the messages themselves. Well, that was one issue solved.
Gabriel was baffled as to just how the Gentlemen had been able to get in if the Hyperion had been on lockdown, but at least they knew that they had to check over the rest of the hotel just to make sure that there weren't any weak points that could be or were penetrated. Rolling down his selves, Gabriel heaved a sigh of relief as he closed up the front panel of system and shutdown the code. He needed to have a talk to Peter. He could recode this easily, but Peter needed to know that the Gentlemen had to have gotten in another way. Pushing himself up off of his chair, he crossed over to the office, knocking lightly on the door before pushing it open and peeking his head in.
"I figured out what happened."
