Rogue jumped slightly at the unexpected voice behind her and quickly spun partially around in her seat with wide eyes. Seeing it was him, she could've kicked herself for having let him sneak up on her like that. She knew better than that. She really did.
Composing herself as best she could, she offered him a bit of an embarrassed smile. "You tryin' to give me even more white hairs?" she half-joked before swallowing a bit nervously. "I'm not sure if anything's really the matter. I just..."
Rogue trailed off, studying him for a minute. What Xander had told her, and what she'd discovered herself, it just didn't seem to really fit like it should. Of course, that's why she was here, wasn't it? To find out if any of it was true. Which meant she needed to start talking.
She just wasn't sure where to begin.
"Wanna have a seat?" she questioned. "Or would you rather walk?" Nothing like stalling, she figured, until she could make up her mind how to broach the entire topic of conversation.
