At the girl's challenge, Exar Kun had felt his day go from average to entertaining---he hadn't had an opponent of any strength in some time, and while he didn't precisely feel as if she would truly give him any kind of workout, it was still.. a way to pass the time. And anything to quell the boredom was welcome. He sometimes found himself wondering how he'd lasted over four-thousand years locked up as a spirit on Yavin IV.
It hadn't taken long to find her---really, she was like an angry little flame amongst mere sparks in the rest of the city, and not for the first time, Exar Kun found himself.. hungry. Oh, not for food, precisely, but for something new and exotic. And what kind of abilities, he wondered, did this girl have? Something he could use, perhaps? Something he could tear from her?
It was worth an attempt, at least.
He stepped into the sand with a deliberate sound, waiting until the girl had turned to see him before executing a low, mocking bow. --At over seven feet, he knew he towered over most humans, and with his broad, powerful frame, dark hair and clothing, and confident stance, he also knew that he intimidated people quite without trying.
His eyes, crimson and flecked with orange and gold, were strangely like a cat's, heavy-lidded and dangerous---a predator's gaze.
"Lady," he greeted, voice a smooth rumble, and slid easily into a defensive stance. "For your benefit, I will not use weapons. I would not want this to end too quickly."
