"Never hurts to state your case," the lawyer replied easily as he tapped the point of the pen on the pad of paper, leaving miniscule dots of ink. A vast improvement over the 'kill, kill, kill' problem. Though, even with the donor dead, Lindsey wasn't entirely sure his hand was completely normal yet either. "I'm plenty of things, but a word breaker isn't one of them."
When Darla began to list off the abilities that the new Champion posessed, he scribbled them down in his nearly illegible writing, most of it shorthand to write out later. His brow furrowed deeper with every new ability. While he had heard of the aspects before, they had been in seperate individuals. He'd never heard of a human being posessing so many and not having a drop of demon blood in them. Hell, even a half demon might not have been able to do all that.
He finally wrote down sedative and underlined it several times before looking up at Darla. "You've had him before," he said slowly, watching her carefully for a reaction. "Why didn't you kill him if you had him captured and I'm assuming from your expertise on the effect of sedatives, powerless?" Asking might not have been wise in most cases, but if Darla had made a misstep, and Peter had been able to escape, it was something that Lindsey wanted to avoid.
He leaned back in the chair as his gaze shifted off of Darla to land blankly on the wall. "Dismemberment and incineration might work. There are several demonic species who show a similar kind of regeneration and that usually does the trick." His eyes narrowed, then he sharply shook his head.
"I think we can put this information to good use. You've been very helpful, Darla."
