Ares snorted as the woman's skirt caught fire. He watched them make their way to the door, lifted his hand and flicked his wrist. The woman's husband, or whoever he was suddenly clutched his throat and shot forward, right into the nearest wall. "See? Your own rules." he said and shoved some of his steak into his own mouth. Growing bored with the antics, he released the man and was just about to cut another piece of steak when Charlie mentioned Lindsey again.
Setting his knife down, he reached for his napkin and wiped at his mouth. "Is that right?" he asked. "Why do you think we'll get along my dear?" he asked as he reached for his water. That's not to say he wouldn't meet with the man. If Charlie saw anything worthwhile in him, Ares couldn't see any reason why he wouldn't want to meet him. Aside from his general dislike or most mortals, he'd push it aside for his daughter. Reaching over with his fork he snared a carrot off her plate and stuffed it in his mouth. "So tell me about him." he said idly as he went back to his steak.
