"Then you have to remind them what you can do babygirl. Show them that messing with you..means a world of hurt." he said simply. He knew her rule. He didn't necessarily agree after all he was war incarnate. All's fair in love and war so to speak but he could understand her feelings on the matter and couldn't recall a time where he'd ever pushed her on it. He held just a modicum of pity for anyone who tried to make her go against her own morals though. He'd be there that day to cheer her on and laugh at the idiots who crossed her on it.
After her food arrived, Ares leaned into his own and picked up his fork. He knew his would be cold by now and snapped his fingers, reheating it before picking up the knife and looking at her. He used the blade of it to point at her. "Remember Charlie. You have no rules. Only the ones you make for yourself which as I've taught you can be broken under the right circumstances. You also have the rules of the Gods. Beyond that..make your own. Make them play by them." he said, wagging the knife a bit at her. "I'll stand by you whatever you do darlin. Like always." he said then proceeded to lay massacre to his steak.
