Charlie smirked when the waitress jumped nearly a foot into the air and spun toward her, a flush clearly staining her cheeks. Excusing herself, the young woman rushed off and the blond turned her attention to the War God.
Her smirk turned into a broad smile as she closed the rest of the distance to the table, her eyes shining with adoration for Ares. "That was almost too easy. What happened to those difficult conquests of yours? At least they didn't scare at the drop of a pin," she snorted before shaking her head in fond amusement. Somethings - especially her father - never changed.
