"It's great that's the way to get noticed, as that's the only way I know how to be," Sarah said, projecting a suitable amount of natural confidence into the act, as – with the current exception of Jareth – Sarah met most things face on and fearlessly. She sensed this enlightening trip to the locked file room in the basement was at an end, but as much as she wanted to know more about those cabinets, she had enough to get answers elsewhere. There was a part of her that still hoped it was as simple as A.I. was once a client of Wolfram & Hart, but that was a hope made only to try and settle, for now, all the little pieces of her unease over the month that was attempting to fit together in one picture.
She heard Lindsey's hint and offered yet another smile, but rather than act directly on it, she went back to her earlier honest offer, one that now might prove useful in getting back in this room if he did it again soon.
"If you need any other help, I'm only a call away – I can make time," she said.
