Relief filled Cordelia when Charlie didn't try to argue the point. Honestly, she too would love to take someone else along - or at least try to explain where they were going - but she knew their time was running out. So without further adieu she exited the Hyperion, certain Charlie would follow. They had a bit of a distance to cover, and she didn't want to be out of breath by the time they got there and unable to fight, so she made a beeline for her car.
Sliding into the driver's seat, she waited for the other girl to get into the passenger side and then she was pulling away from the curb. Fortunately the hysteria caused by the bout of silence that had descended upon the city meant there wasn't as much traffic on the roads as normal, and the cops were too busy dealing with looters and trying to solve crimes with witnesses who weren't able to give descriptions without getting creative, so Cordelia gunned the gas until the buildings were flying past at a veritable blur.
The reached the club in record time - with still a minute or two to spare by her watch - and she pulled alongside the curb then pointed past Charlie, to the alley they were parked in front of and held up six fingers to indicate the number of demons they were to be facing.
