Shahrzad’s expression lightened when the wolf sniffed at her hand and looked at her. Her features were soft and trusting. That was because she wanted to believe in the best on everything: animal or human alike. She remained knelt on the floor, her other hand searched something in her pocket. A sweet candy bar to offer to the wolf. She knew this wouldn’t be the usual diet for the species but she didn’t have anything else with her.
She couldn’t follow her diet either without haemoglobin pills available to her. Stop thinking about it. That thought wouldn’t do anything but worry her in a moment as happy as this one.
