Trance was thankful that whatever had caused this truth telling phenomenon hadn't effected her. There weren't many things that she lied about, but the things that she did were rather large and were things that others were better off not knowing. She had tried her best to keep her secret fully to herself in her time on the Andromeda, and she had done well enough. But she knew that that wouldn't have lasted if she'd stayed. She had asked them to just trust her far too many times without any explanation of how she had known things or by playing coy and insisting that it was just a lucky guess. Eventually she would have had to explain.
But! Here, she didn't have to worry about that, about any of that. Sam hadn't brought up that question since the night that they'd run into each other, and she was hoping that she wouldn't have to worry about diverting it again.
"You know how bureaucracy is, Sam," Trance said with a soft frown. "It's just the bureaucracy in the underworld has stricter penalties than regular bureaucracy."
