He had never teleported before, which made sense considering he didn't have the ability, but he'd never hitched a ride with anyone who had the ability before. So he wasn't exactly sure what to expect when she suddenly had hold of him, pulling him into the dark. He was surprised and on guard, then...on top of the Hollywood sign.
"Whoa!" He took a few quick steps back from the edge, then leaned forward to look down. "Goddamn, I've never met anyone that could do that be - " Then came the second surprise, the lick. His eyebrow arched, but the corner of his mouth curled up into a smirk.
"That's pretty damn impressive. You said you were a mutant?" The term, outside of movies and comics, was new to him. She was certainly an attractive mutant. Must of been they built them like his kind. "Uh, well, half-demons. With the ability to teleport. The higher, more powerful ranks."
