Though he wasn't grinning like the other two, Nathan was seriously tempted to make a crack about the building they were packing into, a temptation that just died an abrupt death when Cordelia started to glow. He had seen quite a lot since arriving here, but that nudged itself toward the top of the list as far as initially startling.
Testing the ground with a curious nudge of his shod toe once they had arrived, he looked up at the sound of the voice. Interesting. Gods who looked like humans. He wondered if this was one of those 'too great for the eyes of mere mortal' things or if the PTB actually had some concept of human comfort. If it was the later, that was – well, ultimately it was only interesting, as Cordelia had already explained their standard M.O. and that left little room for 'promising' as far as first impressions went.
This really wasn't a situation in which one extended a hand and introduced oneself, so Nathan simply stayed put and waited to follow Cordelia or Peter's lead.
