"Well, the beard is out, since I don't want to be another Jesus," he said in a joking manner. He did know how to treat a lady. It was just, that.. well.. this truth serum going around. He found it hard to be as diplomatic as he usually was. Instead, he was saying anything he felt or planned. And he couldn't help but feel drawn to her.. he wasn't completely sure why. Not yet.
He shrugged casually. "I don't follow them, either. I was sort of just born into it. Wasn't by choice." Not that he wouldn't take advantage of his gifts and follow his destiny. Oh yes, he would do that. he had to arch his brow at the phrase of little boy. Ohh, if he could only show what he was capable of...
He glanced around quickly, then back to Ivy. He knew the vines were there. He knew they were dangerous to living beings. He also didn't want to make an enemy out of this woman. "He might be a bit mad.. but then again, he could always go and have another son."
The boy knew he was immune to poisons. There was an incident at his plant when he was younger. A malfunction. Toxic gases sprayed out.. lethal stuff. The other cadets were far enough to just be ill, but Damien.. was so close to it in range. He wasn't affected at all (but a worker next to him died horribly). And if he was, then his immunity must have taken care of it in a short time. So, he wasn't too concerned about the Kiss of Death.
He gestured to the vines as he looked her in the eyes. "I'd feel better if you called these off. Please? I really don't want to kill them.. but I will have to if I am threatened. And you're too beautiful to have your pets damaged. I did not know this was your territory. So, if you want me to leave your domain.. tell me so. Otherwise, kiss me as deep and hot as you'd like."
