"Guess in someways we're alike then." The sniffling had stopped and her cheeks were sticky from crying now. What was even more odd to her was the fact she hadn't moved and was nestled against his side. Seemed to be doing them both good though. Turning her head she rubbed her nose against his shirt. "Sorry, it itched."
Abigail thought about that and nodded. "Well, in that case, why did you show up for me?" Made her wonder, but she tried not to put too much thought into it. "Maybe it's so if I'm ever arrested and the FBI called in I'll have a friend."
Chuckling softly she shook her head. "I've already got that for myself. I'm much more the cliffsnotes, laymans term type. Can't stand it when people go talking like they swallowed a dictionary."
Nodding she toed her shoes off and scrunched her toes. "You're such a badass Booth. Guess I'm gonna have to teach you the ins and outs of my job. Ya know in case there's a vampire you take a grudge against for knocking my lights out." She was kidding and gave him a wink. "There's that smile again. We gotta try and keep that there a little more often. It's kinda charming."
