Most people would see a purple-skinned girl with a tail and be freaked out, yes. Even in this city, that was still certainly different, but this was Sarah. While many things might surprise her or agitate her, the out of the ordinary was never rejected outright and was often easily adjusted to, if not accepted right off. There was a startled expression at first, to be sure, but the grin and wave from the girl helped set that aside.
So, rather than be unnerved, Sarah smile and waved back, as truly, she just saw that the girl clearly wasn't someone 'from around here', as it went in this city, and that she appeared to be relatively friendly. Was the girl new or just very pleasant? She didn't seem very disoriented.
"Hi there," she greeted, head tipped slightly, waiting to see if any of the typical questions of where, when and how came, as they often did with new arrivals.
