"I hope so," the blond man said after a moment, expression surprisingly solemn as he replaced his glasses on his face and tucked away the bandage-roll. "He's only twelve, and with-- with Seimei-sama alive.. I don't know--" He bit his next words off, shaking his head and smiling again. --He smiled a lot; it helped hide what he really felt, what he was really thinking. Smile, and no one could ever guess how miserable you truly were.
He hesitated, then, and indicated himself with fingers to his chest. "Agatsuma Soubi. It's a pleasure to meet you, Charlie-san." His smile widened, then, and he flicked those same fingers dismissively. "And I don't know about being able to beat you---I haven't seen you fight, really, now have I?" No doubt, they didn't come from the same worlds at all, so.. who was to say that either one of them was the stronger one? Soubi knew that for what he was, he was powerful: Beloved had reigned supreme amongst Sentouki-Sacrifice pairs, and he and Seimei were legends. But perhaps Charlie-san was a legend in her own right.
At any rate, strength meant little to him when it wasn't being used for his Ritsuka-san.
