Okay. Now Willow knew something was very, very wrong. Not knowing her was one thing. Not knowing she was even in danger, or being held captive? That was something else entirely.
Amnesia. Great. Not such a fan with the amnesia.
With a strong mental sigh - and doing her best to keep the easy-going smile plastered on her face - the redhead replied, "See, that's just it. You don't really belong here. You have friends who are worried about you, and a man who isn't very nice has been keeping you here and refuses to let you go. The gal that looks like you? She's not very nice. At all. And I think she may be the reason you don't remember anything."
Drawing in a breath and glancing once toward the door, Willow looked back to her and added, "So your friends asked me to come get you out of here and take you back to where they are so they can help you to remember again." She could hear the alarms going off in the distance and knew their time was quickly running out.
"Now, I don't want to be pushy, because I'm just not the pushy sort of type, but we really do kinda need to get going." Her tone was hopeful, then, as she met Veronica's gaze and willed her (without magic since she didn't want to affect her decision if she could help it) to just agree so they could get out of there.
Willow really didn't want to rescue an unwilling victim. It just didn't sit well with her at all.
