"I DID NOT order your assassination!" Angela exclaimed, slamming her one hands down on the counter as well as she pushed herself to her feet as she stared at her eldest. There was no way that he could honestly believe that she would do that. She had been cruel to him, dismissive, insensitive, and downright hateful at time during that year, but she had never, never, wished him dead.
"How could you believe that I would do something like that?" She asked, a heavy stress in her voice. "You might have been able to make the worst decision in your whole life, but I didn't want you dead. I didn't. Oh, god, I didn't. Robert was the one that thought it was the best course of action, and it wasn't like that was anything I could do to stop it. He wouldn't have listened to me even if I had had the time to protest."
