Angela sighed softly at she looked up at her son. This wasn't getting them anywhere, and he obviously wasn't buying the innocent act. So instead, she figured that bold faced honesty was probably a better route to take, "I saw an opportunity, so I took it," She said, nudging the plate toward him again.
"You aren't going to talk to me willingly. And I'm not stupid enough to assume that you will do so any time soon. It's easier to get someone to cooperate when they're backed into a corner than it is to sit around and wait for them to get over being hardheaded and cooperate of their own volition."
