Nathan's response to that was unintelligible, and luckily so, as what was actually muttered under his breath would likely have earned him a grounding were he significantly younger than his current age. But he wasn't and he could say whatever he wanted, even if that was all said so no one could hear it, especially his mother. He didn't believe her for a minute and he knew time would soon prove him right when she tried to discuss anything that was not a neutral topic.
