Nathan stared at her. He'd been waiting for an explanation, but as he'd been pretty certain this was about House as the bag guy, not the victim, he'd quite happily gone alone for whatever asskicking they were about to administer. He was certain this would be good.
And now they weren't going to be administering said asskicking on the doctor he'd been wanting to kick since he'd rescued Cordelia.
Well. At least he didn't have to conceal the flamethrower right now, which was a bonus point for safety, not flash. The thing was homemade, but he'd found it had some pretty impressive power behind it, which in turn had elevated his opinion of Dr. Owen Harper. He just liked having it in his hands before approaching something, rather than needing to haul it out of the duffle when he got there.
"And there's no chance we're supposed to be saving the demon this time, huh?" he asked, only half joking.
