"Weakened would help in a pretty not so small kind of way," Willow nodded. She thought for a minute, then her eyes lit up. "Oh! Xander can help!"
Realizing how that sounded, she quickly continued. "I mean, not in the fighting the evil me sense, because that would be bad. Really, really bad. But if he can do that whole talking thing he did before, it could help. I don't think even evil me really wants to kill Xander."
And okay, so she didn't know that for sure, but she was almost positive. And alright, so sending her best friend in to face off against evil her wasn't exactly a smart move, but he'd survived it before, and she knew she could get back in time to make sure he survived it again.
"It's the snakebite that did it," she admitted, not even realizing she was speaking out loud for a second. You spent enough time trapped alone in a weird, alternate dimension, you tended to talk to yourself some. Or, in her case, a lot. A whole lot.
Getting side-tracked.
"The venom poisoned my magical core. Unless you guys can fix that..." She shrugged, meeting Dawn's gaze. "Maybe it's best if you just tell them to stop me. So I can't do something like this again." It hurt to say those words but she was starting to think that maybe, just maybe, there was some wisdom to be found in them.
