Dawn followed him into the park and jumped back slightly when he turned suddenly. She wasn't really suprised. She figured he would have been more pissed than grateful. Hell, she probably would have been too if the situation was reversed. She had made a stupid, stupid choice. But she wouldn't go back on it. Not by a long shot.
Dawn smirked a bit, reaching up to push some hair out of her face, and walked past him to lean back against a tree. "You know, the standard reaction to having someone save you from an eternity in hell is some form of gratitude," she said with a bit of sarcasm creeping into her voice. She could only think of how mad Buffy would be if she found out about this.
