Jan Valek had been observing the Time Lord for some time now, patiently gathering information and knowledge of his prey. However prey wasn’t exactly the right term, no he was chosen for higher purpose then just mere food. He watched him from a building roof, crouched down like a cathedral gargoyle only better looking and draped entirely in black, easily allowing him to blend in as he watched the Doctor. It appeared to the master vampire that a sorrow was upon the ‘man of the stars,’ a nickname that the former priest had given the alien. He wondered what sadness could trouble him so? No matter it had become the vampire’s ally. Seeing him he darts off, he swiftly rose to his feet and was running along the buildings, leaping gracefully across seemingly without a sound. Then like some dark angel he dropped down, well more like glided down a small distance from his chosen target “Doctor…” a voice as sensual as a sly serpent beckoning a rodent to its’ grasp. Valek knew looking upon him with eerie inhuman gaze he had chosen well. Very slowly his lips tugged into a subtly reserved smile.
