Who: Gaia Moore, OPEN
Where: Some cafe that has internet
When: mid afternoon
Rating: should be pretty pg
Gaia fumbled in her pockets to shell out the rediculous amount of money the lady behind the counter wanted for a simple coffee and sandwich. She supposed that was the price for deciding to spend the afternoon in the cafe but the sign on the door said free wifi and that was worth three dollars for a coffee she supposed. Gaia really wasn't sure if her apartment could even handle dial up let alone high speed internet. Not that she could sign up for it being that she well, technically didn't belong here. The tall blonde girl added a large amount of sugar into the oversized cup and headed to an area around the corner that seemed quieter than the rest of the small cafe.
She had a bit of extra money in her pocket for once which felt nice. Even after paying her rent at the crappy apartment she had a bit to live off for a few weeks. Courtesy of some boys in a pool hall who learned quickly that pretty and blonde did not a crappy pool player make. She took them for a few hundred. The laptop she pulled out from a beat up messenger bag was from a game of chess near the University. She had felt bad taking the poor kid's laptop but he insisted she won it far and square. And she really did need it.
Booting up the laptop she took a long drink from the coffee. She hadn't been sleeping lately. One of the major downsides of having no fear was that fear was what woke you up from nightmares. Without it one just got to live out the worst moments of their life in dreamy technicolour over and over. A restful sleep that didn't give. Not by a long shot. Gaia yawned as the wireless card picked up the cafe's signal and once she was online she set the coffee down and opened google. Now, she knew she had told that Sam kid she wouldn't get into it. But really, what did she owe some random stranger. And a random stranger with the doomed name none the less. Her and Sam's it seemed were just destined to not click well. Or too well in one case. Gaia wrinkled her nose and forced the thoughts from her mind. It wasn't like she was ever going to see Sam Moon again, she might as well toss the memories aside.
In the search box she typed in demonic possessions, the place she had left her research off. The sounds of the cafe drifted away and she plugged in headphones to the side of the laptop. The kid she got it from had suprisingly good taste in music and she let it filter in the subconcious parts of her mind as she searched away.
