The grin on Sarah's face widened even more upon his introduction. "Ben? Ben Kenobi?" Oh, this was awesome. He must be basing his characterization from those years between the movies she'd seen growing up and the ones she'd watched after arriving to this place and having her incredibly awkward conversation with Anakin 'not Darth Vader' Skywalker over the message boards. That would explain the nuanced details, such as the slightly fuller beard, as well as his introduction. Well, she hadn't expected to find this level of theatrical commitment in a shelter, but she certainly approved with ever part of her eager director's heart.
Wait. Wait a second.
What was it Anakin had said? It had been awhile ago, but now that the idea had latched on in her mind, she wouldn't let it go until she'd remembered. Something about... yes, the actor – Hayden Christensen – had looked enough like him that they might be mistaken for one another. So if that was the case, and she had in fact spoken to Anakin Skywalker on the message boards... was it possible this man who looked enough like Ewan McGregor's Obi-Wan Kenobi to pass as him might actually be the real thing? No one else had seemed dressed to the Star Wars theme, not overtly with those blue head tentacles things that one Jedi girl had had, or even subtly, as a general Jedi figure. Only him.
Anything was possible here. That was really the overall theme of this place that she'd come to embrace because it was interesting and exciting and something more than ordinary. Why only day dream when stories came to life here?
Realizing she'd fallen silent several beats to long for good manners, she flashed him an apologetic smile, but her gaze was searching, seeking proof of either her first assumption or his most recent hypothesis.
"Sorry, I'm Sarah, it's nice to meet you," she said, holding out her hand. "I'm just very impressed. I think all of this, especially you, are wonderful."
