Peter was at the ready. He and Nathan had been at this for enough time now that telepathy was barely needed. They new the actions one another would take, and acted in order.
When the holy water struck the vampire, it screamed, releasing the woman it held, and turning towards Nathan. That was when Peter slipped in, stepping out of the wall to pull her aside, and keep an eye on Nathan as he finished off the undead bastard.
The results this time were a bit unexpected. "Sorry, ma'am," he started to say, "it'll just be a moment unt--"

He stopped short, the woman's face finally impacting on his memory, clenching at his heart. Nostolgia, anger, homesickness, betrayal, love - the feelings washed over him so quickly, he had no way to tell them apart.
Then he pulled away, turning back towards Nathan. And the vampire. Keeping an eye on his brother.
