There was a little bit of a clearing up ahead, and a tall, pale woman was standing within, dressed entirely in black, with jeans and a tank top. There was also a large silver pendant around her neck. It wasn't entirely clear how she'd gotten here. From the looks of her bare arms, she might have been dropped right into the small patch of grass, since there was no sign of any scratches from the briars.
She looked up as the butterfly entered, smiling lightly as she watch it flutter in and land lightly on a thorn. Hearing the voice of the girl, she looked at the butterfly. "Come on," she said. "She said she won't hurt you. Just slow down a bit and let her take a look."
The butterfly fluttered its wings, and stayed put.
