Once inside she laughed, unable to hold it in any longer.
"You're terrible."
Taking a quick peek she was relieved at least the bathroom was cleaner than she was expecting.
"It'll do until we can find a better place tomorrow. I'll take some cash from my bank account."
It turned out Danica's place had been loaded and well, she and Hannibal had a nice little cushion for all their hard work. She hadn only used the most minimal amount for basic everyday needs.
"Don't even start bitching about me paying for a better place to stay. More than one night here and I'm sure we're gonna need ever vaccine known to man."
Finally she shed the trenchcoat and draped it over the hook by the door. Beneath it she removed some of the kevlar, bullet proof vest, her two guns, her compound bow and finally the metal device clasped at her hip that looked harmless. But that was only because it wasn't activated. She placed it all neatly on the dresser. There was a sigh of relief, she felt so much lighter now.
