Anakin cradled Luke in his arms, holding the boy tightly and protectively to him as he walked slowly in the direction of their home. He would've ran with Force-enhanced speed, but being that the boy was already frightened, he didn't want to scare him further, especially if he had to jolt to a stop. It took a while by foot, but they eventually reached the building.
Smiling down with a fondness that surprised even him, Anakin moved into the building and stepped into the elevator, reaching out with the hand that wasn't holding onto his son to push to button to the top-most floor. Some distasteful music and a ding later and they were stepping out into the hall just before the door.
He contemplated setting Luke down and letting the boy walk in with use of his own two legs, but decided against it, waving his hand in front of the door to open it and stepping inside. He used the Force to gently shut it behind him, moving into the living room to place Luke upon the couch and--
