WHO: Max and Jack WHAT: Jack offered to show Max some new tech and she couldn't resist WHEN: The afternoon WHERE: Hyperion front desk STATUS: Incomplete. RATING: PG
Max looked away from her computer after sending the last message to the boy who she assumed lived upstairs somewhere. She still hadn't met everyone yet, but that had to be a safe assumption. Wherever he was, she was plenty glad he was coming downstairs. The prospect of examining some sort of new computer made her positively giddy inside.
She was swinging her legs and letting the soles of her Chucks squeak across the floor as she waited. The noise kept her entertained while she took a break from her break – she'd been playing solitaire until that had gotten boring, but her eyes hadn't yet uncrossed enough to go back for another session of coding. She'd had her eyes lasered back to twenty-twenty years ago and she really didn't want to ruin that in a place where laser surgery was more apt to burn your corneas in.
She stared up at the ceiling, moving her eyes back and forth and blinking them over and over. Probably best to get that over with so that she didn't look like so much of a spaz while she met new people.
