Another time. To them, yes. To him it was the opposite. But he supposed if he was the odd one out then maybe their point of view was right. Edward sighed heavily, glancing down at his feet planted on the floor. The whole situation had him on edge. Was he gone from where he had come? Had he left everyone there, simply vanished from sight? If so he had broken the only promise he ever made, to never leave Bella again. The thoughts twisted in his mind, even now with Bella here. Because it wasn't his Bella, it wasn't the Bella he had been with just prior to arriving here, and this wasn't the Alice had had been with either.
Edward looked back to his sister, raking a hand through his hair before speaking. "Yes, I suppose you could call it that. Before I was here I was hunting, up north..." he paused for a moment, breathing in the old framiliar scent that now permeated the penthouse. "With Bella."
