Peter, on the other hand, was relived that Katara was coming along. The girl was young, but he'd come to rely on her quiet calm and her dedication. She helped keep him in place when he was becoming too much of a tyrant over the Hyperion.
And with something like this going on, it was certainly an advantage to be able to split the responsibilities.
"Teenagers and homeless," he repeated with a nod. They would be losing the place they'd considered home, but with hope, he and Katara could direct them to some shelters. Peter gave Katara a smile. "You be careful, too. Just because you're hiding behind a wall of water is no reason to get sloppy."
That said, he started to hurry towards the building, trying to see what kind of condition it was in. It didn't seem ready to fall, but that's why Cordy had her visions, right?
