Leia couldn't pretend to know what the beverages were either, but when she saw Tea as an option, she took it, pleased with the opportunity to feign comprehension. When the waitress asked "Milk or lemon?" however, it threw her off stride momentarily. Her hesitation was brief, and she inquired, "May I have honey?" and was relieved when the woman wrote it down without a pause.
At Obi-Wan's casual mention of her mother, Leia frowned lightly, folding her hands, biting down the wince against her wounded knuckles. "I've only recently learned of her," she admitted. "I'd studied Senator Amidala while I was training to be a senator myself. And of course, my father spoke fondly of her." Her mind whispered something about Anakin, but she ignored it. Bail Organa was her father, and the only one she acknowledged.
She smiled lightly. "Obi-Wan, then. Wars never go as we would hope. The Imperial Civil War has just ended in my time, or, at least, it should be ending. The Emperor has been destroyed. The Sith are no more. When the information reaches through the Imperial fleet, the remaining hold of the Empire should crumble."
