"I'm certain she isn't going to say no to seeing you," Jaina replied, knowing that much at least to be true. She returned the smile then moved past him, to the destroyed training disc and picked it up.
"It's jut a little... odd, is all," she admitted as she studied the damage done to the device. "I've grown up learning about Senator Amidala. My mother idolized her, in a large way courtesy of Bail Organa I think." Chewing on her lower lip for a second, she cast a glance at Obi-Wan.
"I'm not much of a diplomat," she admitted. "I don't have the patience for it. Everyone wants to sit around and discuss the best option, and argue that their point is the strongest and best. Me?" She shrugged. "I just want to do my job and hope, at the end of the day, that I've made a difference."
Tucking the disc under her arm, she nodded toward her ship. "Walk with me?" she asked. "I need to put this away and check on the readouts from the diagnostic exam the computer ran on the ship." It should be finished by now, she figured. Or pretty close.
