"That's what Uncle Luke says, too. Patience, unfortunately, has never really been my strong suit. I guess I take after my dad when it comes to that."
Having all but forgotten about her ship, Jaina glanced briefly over her shoulder then smirked, looking back to Obi-Wan. "It is," she replied. "It's called a StealthX - a heavily modified version of the X-Wing. It was made specifically with Jedi in mind and is virtually invisible in space." There was clear pride in her voice when she spoke of her beloved vessel. She missed flying, probably more than she'd even realized, and made a note to do so just as soon as she had the chance.
For now, though, she wasn't worried about it. She was too busy focusing on the conversation she was having with someone she never thought she'd ever have the pleasure to meet.
"So, how long have you been here? I felt something in the Force a few days ago, but I've been so busy with everything else that I really didn't pay it much attention." She had the decency to look a little chagrined at such an admission, but it was the truth. If there was one thing that could be said for Jaina, it was that she almost always told the truth. Even when admitting to her own shortcomings.
