Jack was brand new to the hotel only arrived the other night. He'd slept well at least. For the first time since he'd been in that time the beds were comfortable and the room quiet not filled with vampires like outside, but still everything was different. He was used to living on a base, being called in the middle of the night to stop monsters and giant robots. Lets just say this was the first full nights sleep he'd had in a long while.
But now he was ready to explore. With much a difficulty he'd figured out how to work the shower and felt refreshed. Now all he had to worry about was the angry noises his stomach were making. If this was home, by now Bridge would have buttery toast waiting, or an omelet. He raised a brow, there was no kitchen in his room, he didn't know why he was looking under pillows for possible places a kitchen could be hidden.
"...What am I thinking? I've been around Bridge too long." He muttered to himself and tied his dreadlocks into a loose ponytail and headed out, key in pocket and locking his door. So far so good, He managed to use the door without phasing through it. Rubbing sleep from his eyes while he headed down the hall he stretched and sniffed the air, food He knew that scent! Following his nose towards the kitchen, Jack walked straight through the door and winced. Not even a day and he'd broken one of the rules, " Oh man." A hand on his forehead, and he instantly looked around. "Sorry! " And he cringed, hoping this wasn't her room or something, but fortunately for him it couldn't be. It was just a kitchen. Still, he mentally kicked himself..there had to be something he could do. Maybe all he needed was to concentrate more..but how could he when his thoughts were scattered between 2025 and 2005?
