Sarah looked at the girl as she started the healing process, not having the energy to compalin or to tell her no. And in fact, she didn't seem to want to take no for an answer.
"You should've dealt with him first." Nodding her head towards Zuko, she just leaned back against the wall and closed her eyes. "Shit..can you turn the vampire off? My senses are going wild here...and its really grating on my nerves."
She ignored the voice prodding at her mind. Kristopher and Nikolas were checking up on her, and she sent a thought line to them, telling them, where ever the hell they were, that she was fine. Just a little banged up.
She sighed and closed her eyes again, just leaving them that way. "I'm sorry. I can..sense vampires. I sensed you, I wasn't sure if you were the good one people go on and on about, or some asswipe who was hurting people. So I came into check it out. Clearly, however, you're a good one if that one.." motioning with her uninjured arm towards Katara. "..is hanging out with you. Shes a good kid, for all that she gets herself into trouble as much as I do from what I've noticed." She opened her eyes and smiled wryly at Katara. "Thanks, kiddo."
Really, she'd have shut down her witch senses if it wasn't for the fact that she'd given most of the power to Katara, to boost her energy up. She took a deep breath and concentrated, forcing them to turn themselves off so Angel's presence was a slight buzz instead of the sandpaper on skin that it had felt like a moment or two ago.
"You know, if this is the kind of party y'all have all the time, I don't think I want to be invited." And laughed good naturedly, cracking open an eye again with a smile. "Or maybe I do. Who knows?"
