At that moment, Angel emerged from the direction of the basement, fully vamped out and not very happy. The sent of the blood from the dead woman assaulted his senses, making him even more irate than he already was. He was bleeding and in pain and having this much blood around a vampire who hadn't touched human blood in ages was never a good thing. It tempted him, called to him...so instead he focused on Oz and did his best to ignore the precious pool of blood from the dead woman that was just going to waste.
With a vampyric growl, Angel lunged at Oz, prying the werewolf off of the blonde girl, not caring that he'd never seen her before, and promptly tossed him across the room.
Once he was sure the werewolf was a good distance away, he made a b-line for the weapon's cabinet, tearing the doors open and pulling out a large, black gun from the back of it. Setting the back of the gun on his shoulder, he took aim.
"You're going to have one hell of headache when you wake up in the morning, buddy," he told Oz, despite knowing he couldn't understand him, and pulled the trigger.
It wasn't the sort of tranquillizer that Giles always had on hand for the nights when the full moon threatened Oz, but it would do the trick. Hell, it would do better than that, being that it was some of the tranquillizer that Andrew had given him, left over from when Dana had gone completely nuts on him and Spike. If Slayer tranquillizer didn't take him down, nothing would.
