"So harsh." she replied just as calmly as she had before. "If she wanted to kill you, she must have had a very good reason. It's probably you're own fault." she said with a shrug, passing it off as not a big deal. The memories she had of Lana were pretty much the most innocent things she had ever seen. But a lot could change in three years. Looks like her Lana was all grown up. At least she was doing the family proud.
"'My ass' as you put it so eloquently, has been gone for centuries. I am merely concerned for this body. Nothing will happen to it, while I am here." as for Lana, well honestly she didn't really care, because for now, it was Isobel's life, and she really had no intention of giving it up any time soon, especially since she couldn't complete her task while she was stuck here.
Isobel shared the calmness, and was clearly also unconcerned that this person had Clark's powers. She had already proved she could win against him in a fight. If he won, well...she wouldn't let that happen. As long as she had her book, she should be fine. Even without it, she was still extremely powerful as long as she staid in this body. "Clark Kent is of no concern to me, he's existence is unimportant to my goal, unless he gets in my way." which here he couldn't do, because there was nothing for him to stop her from doing. There were no stones, and no descendant of Duchess Gertrude. "I've been aware the stones were not here, your sarcastic demeanor is wasted on me." that was when she turned her own back and began to walk away, losing interest in this conversation, fast. Her eyes began to turn people, the power of a teleportation spell already bubbling, waiting to be used in case he decided to suddenly attack her. She was in no mood to deal with him tonight. "I guess you'll just have to go somewhere else to satisfy your curiosity." she owed him no explanation, and even if she did, she probably wouldn't give it to him.
