"Take your time," she replied, refraining from adding she wasn't in a hurry. She didn't want to start the whole thing out on a lie. She was in a bit of a hurry, although not because she had somewhere to be, but rather because the entire scene was a little too... stuff for her taste.
Moving into the office, taking in her surroundings, Charlie made her way to the chairs he'd indicated and took a seat. Truth be told, she had no idea what she was going to really say to him. She only knew she was here to discuss the Senior Partners' plan, to some extent. Perhaps test the waters. She really wasn't certain what to expect and was a little taken aback at how quickly this was all happening.
Still, if there was one thing the girl was good at doing, it was thinking on her feet. She just considered this another one of those situations and waited patiently, hands folded in her lap and attention flickering around at the (surprisingly tasteful) decor.
