“You would have loved Mona. When Lucifer asked her what she wanted to guard, she was contemplating picking between pop music or chocolate. Heeh,” Elaine commented, smiling widely at the memory of Lucifer’s face to Mona’s ingenious ideas. “She is really something. In the end, she decided for hedgehogs because they are cute and cuddly and surely needed some watching over.” She appraised the pizza for a minute before going to connect the DVD to the television.
“Well, I haven’t watched either. I was twelve when I had to leave my foster family behind and they wouldn’t have allowed me to watch films that weren’t mean for little Catholic schoolgirls until they grow up,” she explained, shrugging a little. She opened the box of The Godfather and picked up the disc, placing in the DVD set.
She sat down on the floor, leaning on the bed and pressing play to start the movie. “Mm, dark, please,” she answered absently, scanning to steal a pizza slice during the commercial spots and trailers.
