Saving the day again? Well of course! What else would Spiderman be doing while trapped in a city full of evil? Eddie didn’t have the answer to that question and he didn’t think that anybody else would either. Really, this was just like being back home, only… not. No, this was too different to be normal, too odd to be extremely familiar to him. But he was filled with a stinging reminder anyway, when he looked down from his perch and saw him leap down onto the ground.
“I was going to get that, idiot.” His voice was a displeased hiss as he crawled down along the wall, away from the shadows that had been doing such a fabulous job at keeping him hidden. His nails scraped along the brick and when he jumped there was the soft sound of his body colliding with the ground. Venom’s shoulders were arched, his back stiff. His eyes were normal, blue but darker than they should have been. When he bared his teeth they weren’t as sharp as they could have appeared.
“I think I’ll stand here and watch them punch your face off…” With a toothy grin, Venom crossed his arms across his chest and reached out to point a clawed finger in their direction. “Don’t suck this time.” That was directed at the vampires. He hated them with a passion... But this was Spiderman.
