Albus couldn't have kept the smile from his face even if he'd wanted to. Yeah, it was a bit off seeing his mother so much younger than his father - in fact, she was closer to his age at the moment - but the fact that they were once again together was all that really mattered to the boy. Some people were just made for each other, and his parents definitely fell into that category.
"Knowing James, he'd argue the fact of living through it," he replied lightly and with a shake of his head. He did miss his brother, even though the guy got on his last nerve more times than not.
"You look good, mum," he added as they finally closed the distance between them. His gaze flickered to his father. "I guess you really weren't lying all those times you told her she'd hardly aged."
There wasn't any teasing to be found this time, just a genuine tone of sincerity. He could only rib his parents for so long. He just didn't have the stamina for it like his brother did.
