Listening with vested interest the woman known as ‘Rani’ talked about a ship, her school, and then her parents. Eve frowned as Rani told her about her parents. Eve didn’t like who the people who made her. But in another sense she did, as much as she could fathom, love Ivy. If her ‘mother’ had died, she couldn’t imagine what he’d feel like.
With Rani now opening her eyes she tried to put a more sympathetic smile on her face, but somewhat awkwardly looked slightly scared. “I’m sorry about your parents.” She stated, before accepting the offer. “Food. Yeh. Sound’s like a good idea.”
With that she took a step around the older woman, getting ready to follow Rani to whenever their search would lead them. “And I don’t think my mother will worry as long as I get back before dark. She knows I can protect myself.”
