Reaching the second floor of the Hyperion, keeping Peter's statement that Kathy had been staying in Angel's room in mind, the Seer headed directly for said room without missing a beat. Of course, she wanted to go to her own room and get a shower, as well as a change of clothes. However Kathy came first and, really, when Cordelia thought about it, she did want to see the girl first and foremost. The rest could wait until Kathy knew they were back, safe and sound.
She rapped her knuckles lightly against the door, glancing once at Angel with a reassuring smile on her face, before cracking the door open and peering inside. Not spotting the child up and about, her gaze eventually went to the bed. At first she didn't see her and was starting to wonder if the girl had, in fact, left the room and returned to the one they shared. Stepping further inside, however, Cordelia noticed the small lump beneath the covers and released a soft sigh of relief.
"She's sleeping," she whispered softly to her Champion, moving further into the room so he could gain entrance as well. "I'd say we shouldn't wake her, but I think she'd probably give us an earful if we didn't."
Yet Cordelia also made no move to get closer to the bed, instead motioning for Angel to be the one to do it. Kathy was his sister, and she knew he'd worried about her virtually nonstop during the time he'd been gone. So while Cordelia had missed the girl a great deal - more than she had missed anyone else, in fact - she stood aside to let the siblings have their reunion.
